The official fashion week of the island, San Juan Moda has commenced with the stunning presentation by Ecliptica: “The Greatest Show on Earth“, composed of designing duo Norein and Michelle Otero. They stunned us with beautiful, feminine garments which their known for.
This season the designers inspired by the flapper and circus era with modern and luscious fabrics influenced by the majestic and the intriguing of the decade. Superb prints with delicate star embellishments, fringe and bright colors for the risk taking fashionista. Stunning cutouts, high slit skirts, bare baring backs and exquisite adorned fringe, ravishing and colorful patterns with pleasing appliqués were the focus of the collection. The designing sisters which were celebrating their 15 year career, did not disappoint with such an innovative proposal.

Their avant-guarde designs could only be complimented by the ravishing creations and accents of jewelry designer Alberto Torres, with his outstanding and divine belts, intricate chokers, earrings and rings inspired by the heavenly and cosmic.

G Models by Gretchen Capo held their first fashion event at the Centro de Bellas Artes de Guaynabo and it was a total success! Over 80 aspiring models completed seminars and coaching from the talent development part of the agency. They demonstrated their skills with a collective runway of local designers: Lisa Thon, Kelvin Giovannie, Eddie Guerrero, Jaer Cabán, Of Atelier, Ana María Rodríguez, Margarita Alvarez, Bea Rodriguez, Sonia Rivera, Namibia Viera, Jose Raul, Hector Omar, Natalia Figueroa, Lizet Miro, Herman Nadal, Lorena Arvelo y Jackie Tejada.

The event presented diverse talents and divisions of the agency: Children, Plus , High Fashion, Commercial and Men. Everyone had the opportunity to showcase their talents before a panel of fashion insiders that consisted of the the President and Director of San Juan Moda Carlos Bermudez, television personality Jaime Mayol, top model of the agency Yuliana Padilla and representatives of Imagen and IN Puerto Rico Magazine. Hair and makeup were provided by Cristal Garamendi y Rene Limandy.
