[Review] G Models Fashion Event

G Models by Gretchen Capo held their first fashion event at the Centro de Bellas Artes de Guaynabo and it was a total success! Over 80 aspiring models completed seminars and coaching from the talent development part of the agency. They demonstrated their skills with a collective runway of local designers: Lisa Thon, Kelvin Giovannie, Eddie Guerrero, Jaer Cabán, Of Atelier, Ana María Rodríguez, Margarita Alvarez, Bea Rodriguez, Sonia Rivera, Namibia Viera, Jose Raul, Hector Omar, Natalia Figueroa, Lizet Miro, Herman Nadal, Lorena Arvelo y Jackie Tejada.

The event presented diverse talents and divisions of the agency: Children, Plus , High Fashion, Commercial and Men. Everyone had the opportunity to showcase their talents before a panel of fashion insiders that consisted of the the President and Director of San Juan Moda Carlos Bermudez, television personality Jaime Mayol, top model of the agency Yuliana Padilla and representatives of Imagen and IN Puerto Rico Magazine. Hair and makeup were provided by Cristal Garamendi y Rene Limandy.

[La Cara de IMAGEN Rimmel London 2015] Fabiola Valentin
Every year local fashion magazine IMAGEN is the host of the event: “La Cara de IMAGEN“. The magazine cast aspiring and professional models for the competition. Only twelve finalist are chosen and compete on overall elegance, grace and look.
La Concha A Renaissance Resort was the host of the 26 edition of the the competition and twelve finalists graced the runway with looks from Lu Fashion’s, afterwards they announced three finalists and the winner. These were: Angelica Figueroa (third runner up), Tatiana Wawriw (second runner up), Irene Rivera (first runner up) and Fabiola Valentin the winner of “La Cara de IMAGEN Rimmel London 2015″. The winner will receive $1,000 from Casiano Communications, will grace the cover of the November edition of the magazine and will be featured in an editorial and interview in the same issue.

In this edition they presented the first ever Chrysler Beauty & Style Award which went to Ashley Gonzalez and The Blogger Choice of Rimmel London whose winner was Heylimar Rosario. The winner of the People’s Choice held online was Taisha Roman.
