In an amazing twist of events, the looks that went down the red carpet for the 58th annual Grammy’s was a bit more on the conservative side. Never the less there were some breathtaking gowns for all shapes and sizes.
I have to admit that I was truly impressed on how fashion house Givenchy created such an amazing gown for Adele and Designer Michael Costello created a beautiful mermaid gown for Jazmine Sulliven.

But the red carpet was home to the glamorous, adventurous and the unconventional; Skylar Grey in Cary Santiago, Ellie Goulding in Stella McCartney, Tori Kelly in Gauri and Nainika, Kaley Cuoco in Naéem Khan and Zendaya in Dsquared2.

The men were a bit on the casual side, but the ones that took to the dapper approach to the red carpet were LL Cool J in Giorgio Armani and Sam Hunt in Dolce and Gabbana.

Last but not least, I was totally taken aback with an astonishing David Bowie (one of my favorite musicians and fashion icons) tribute done by Lady Gaga. Her recognition to Ziggy Stardust was amazing and her outfit by Marc Jacobs, to die for. The 22nd Screen Actors Guild Awards was held today, Another award ceremony, another amazing red carpet. For all of you that don’t know the SAG Award is an accolade given by Screen Actors Guild‐American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) to recognize outstanding performances in film and primetime television. This is considered to be a very prestigious award, since its awarded by fellow artist. But enough about the ceremony, lets talk about the dresses.
The starlets today were impressive, each of them represented their individual style and looked completely flawless. It wasn’t an easy task to pick my top five, but I was taken aback with Rachel McAdams in Elie Saab Haute Couture, Claire Danes in Stella McCartney, Christina Ricci in Christopher Kane, Viola Davis in Zac Posen and Alicia Vikander in Louis Vuitton.

But wait there’s more! There were some seriously underrated looks that were not really talked about in the red carpet, so well put together, simple and pure elegance. Kit Harrington in Valentino, Dame Helen Mirren in Jenny Packham, Kate Winslet in Giorgio Armani, Sarah Silverman in Vivienne Westwood, Hannah Bagshawe + Eddie Redmayne in Dior.
